The Chinese invented paper 2000 years ago. 1000 years later, the Arabs took the technique to Spain adapting it to their raw materials. 650 years later the Dutch developed a different way to make pulp, from cotton fibers, and made a blender still called “Hollander”. As of today, this technology has changed very little: the frame and counter frame continue being the same. The wooden press though, is now a metal press like the one used in book binding.
We use used cotton bed sheets discarded by hotels. We transform them into pulp and make quality cotton paper to print graphic art. The ensuing works of art can then return to the hotels to decorate the rooms and delight the clients.
